Researcher/Writer (Part-time)
Octopus Consulting is seeking a detail-oriented researcher and writer to support heritage projects. This role offers flexible hours and the ability to work remotely, though some travel may be required.
Location: St. John’s (primarily remote)
Hours/Rate: $20/hr, 10 hrs/wk, 10 wks
Start Date: March 20, 2025
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills
- Experience writing for public audiences
- Proficiency in online and archival research
- Ability to synthesize information clearly
- Undergraduate or master’s degree in history, folklore, journalism, museum studies, or a related field
- Previous experience with a heritage organization is an asset
